Electric Hour, Sword II (7/10)

Sword II released their sophomore LP on 11/14/25 w section1 (Partisan Records). I was really looking forward to this album after they released their single, "Halogen" which is one of my favorite rock songs of the year thus far. I'm not sure I'd call myself a fan, but I've been following Sword II for a few years now and they have a few songs I really like such as "Master Plan" even while I found their 2023 release "Spirit World Tour" a bit underwhelming. I was a bit disappointed by this album only because of how much I love "Halogen," but it's still definitely a more solidified sound and step up from "Spirit World Tour" imo. Great grungey and fun and weird alt. rock in the vein of Feeble Little Horse. I enjoyed it quite a bit even if I'm not sure any of the new songs will be absolutely on repeat.
