Die Without Makeup, Natalia Catalan (8/10)

Okay so. When I got to NY, I immediately made a really good friend at my job named Ben Gertner. Ben is a super talented guitarist and musician (he was touring w Daffo and is in several bands in NY rn). Natalia is one of Ben's really good friends and he'd told me about her a while ago, how she was a musical genius and was making an album all on her own. She released two singles prior to the album, "Ride Operator" and "Waist," both of which I really liked, so I was excited for the whole album. If I had to describe the music, I'd say well first of all, it's super trans which I love. Trans alt. pop maybe? Sometimes reminds me of Frank Ocean. But also way weirder and more experimental. I love the lyricism a lot. It can be weird, but it's really freaking good. Also a quick listen which I love (11 songs 18 minutes). Oh released 2/13/26 w live (without fear).
