The Burden of Desire, voyeur (5/10)

New York alt rock band voyeur released their debut LP on 11/5/25. I've been following them for a while and reviewed last year's EP here. In that review I praised them for their contemporary take on Sonic Youth, but none of their songs have ever really stuck w me the way so many of Sonic Youth's have. Listening to this album, it just starts to feel a little too rip-offy for me. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. If someone wants to tell me why I should give this album another chance or how they are taking SY's sound and doing something new, please let me know.
