Magic of the Sale, Teethe (8/10)
Extremely excellent new Teethe sophomore record out 8/8/25 w Winspear. I'd really enjoyed the singles so was very much looking forward to this full LP. I don't even do slowcore like that -- I can get a bit bored/have generally been preferring more upbeat stuff in last couple of years -- but this album goes hard. I have some questions about what "Magic of the Sale" means and whether or not it is pro-capitalism lmfao but I should probably just look into it and it probably is not pro-capitalism. Regardless, I give my thumbs up to this and will be listening for the rest of the month. Favs are the more upbeat ones predictably, but if you are as emo as me or more, I think you will enjoy the slowcore very much. Fav tracks: Holy Water, Iron Wine, Build & Crash
