Adult Romantix, Winter (8/10)
Winter released her album, "Adult Romantix" on 8/22/25 w Winspear. Cairo and Ezra and I actually ended up going to the album release party, which was at a bar in Ridgewood on Friday. It was fun and she was really nice and I told her I loved the Ivy EP that she recently recommended on some internet video. Listened to the album twice today. Once on my walk, but it was in NY so it was kinda loud and I didn't get to really intentionally listen; now, I'm listening again, and it's really good!!! Given how good all the singles were, I thought it'd be hard to follow up w a whole album at that level, but I think that has actually been achieved. You can see a really wide range of influences and sounds within the broad shoegaze spectrum here, which I like. I'll link the video here of her talking about those EP's cuz it's fun to listen to hear what she likes and how it may have influenced the sound of this album. Fav Tracks: Hide-A-Lullaby, Misery, Existentialism
