Live at Top Note Theatre, Squirrel Flower (5/10)

Squirrel Flower released this surprise live album on 5/23/25 w Polyvinyl Records. I like Squirrel Flower a fair amount, but I just couldn't get into this record. My taste favors her whens she's at her more rocky, and these songs are heavy on reverb and long more ballady gospel-y vocals. Don't love the guitar tone also. Fun to hear new songs from her but I think I'll like them more with full production. If you like her more ambient and slow stuff, you should definitely listen tho. O and features Hurray for the Riff Raff and Free Range. Fav tracks: Full Time Job - Live
