Radio DDR, Sharp Pins (6/10)

Kai Slater released "Radio DDR," his much anticipated follow up to 2023's "Turtle Rock," on 3/21/25 w perennial. This kid is singlehandedly keeping the spirit of the Beatles and baroque pop alive. A mod amidst the shoegaze/grunge revival. He's so talented and the music is very good, just generally not my genre, but if you like The Beatles, the Kinks, Cleaners from Venus, Tony Molina, etc., you should definitely give this album a listen. Pitchfork gave this 20 year old's sophomore album an 8.3, which I think is fair and so exciting. Yay for good music. Fav tracks: Every Time I Hear, With A Girl Like Mine, You Don't Live Here Anymore
