Glory, Perfume Genius (7/10)

Perfume Genius released their latest album on 3/28/25 w Matador. I've been a fan of PG for a long time now and got to see Hadreas last fall which was awesome. I'd really liked the singles that were released for this LP so was pretty excited about it, and it didn't disappoint! I feel like it takes the classic PG sound and extends it to new places with really huge moments full of synth and instrumentation and guitar and then others more stripped back. While I don't love every song on the record, it's a great and worthy listen, and I feel happy and satisfied with the previews of the singles and the fullness of the actual release.
