For Melancholy Brunettes (& sad women), Japanese Breakfast (6/10)

New Japanese Breakfast album dropped 3/21/25 w Dead Oceans. I've never been the biggest fan, but I always do like a song or two and am interested in what she's been up to. Also ran into her last year at a bar in Iowa City and she was just so beautiful irl. That made me more of a fan maybe cuz I'm gay. Anyways, the album is pretty good!! It probably deserves a 7 or 8, but it's just not really my genre/vibe these days. Still can really appreciate. If you like her past stuff, you'll probably like this too. Fav tracks: Orland in Love, Honey Water, Little Girl
