choke enough, Oklou (7/10)

French alternative electronic singer and producer Oklou released her latest LP, "choke enough" on 2/7/25. I'd been following along w the single drops and like many others have had "harvest sky" stuck in my head since it dropped, but honestly I was just kinda meh. Hearing it together as a full LP, though, I've actually come to really admire the sounds. Ethereal somewhere between ambient and club music and art pop. I think I like that the album is more slower paced than I expected, which draws your attention to the skill and musicianship behind all of it. Impressed. Kinda reminded me of Imogen Heap.
