There Is A Well, Shallowater (7/10)

Very awesome debut album of "West Texas dirtgaze" band Shallowater came out on 1/5/24 w Rite Field Records, but I was just put on by Bella a couple weeks ago. She sent me the song "Angels," and I just fell in love. Vocals reminded me a bit of Perfume Genius but then there was also the heavy slowcore shoegaze element. Just got to listening to the whole LP and am impressed!! "Angels" was not an anomaly; diggin the whole thing. Emo shit. Fav tracks: Angels, Birdshot, Lonely Sea
