Midwinter Swimmers, The Innocence Mission (7/10)

The Innocence Mission released their latest album on 11/29/24 w Thérèse Records. I've loved the Innocence Mission since high school when livingston showed me the song "Lakes of Canada" off their 1999 album "Birds of My Neighborhood," so Karen Peris' voice is very nostalgic for me (it also just has that nostalgic sound kinda like the softies). A wonderful winter album with their talent on display. Could put this on after you made coffee and turned on your heated blanket, and it would be idyllic. Don't love every song, but all still very pleasant to listen to. Fav tracks: This Thread Is a Green Street, Midwinter Swimmers, Sisters and Brothers
