Songs of a Lost World, The Cure (6/10)

Solid new album by The Cure dropped 11/1/24 w Polydor Records. I'm a bit behind on my reviews cuz I was pretty sick and also working like a dog for the last two weeks. Was gonna give this a 7 maybe but I haven't really returned to these songs that much so dropping it to a 6. Great and complex synth-driven pop ballads, slightly darkwave but also still hopeful. About what I expected. If you're not a Cure fan or not into synth/darkwave pop, could probs skip, but if you are any of those, would definitely listen.
