headbanger (EP), untitled (halo) (5/10)

LA shoegazers untitled (halo) released their latest EP on 11/22/24. I've been following untitled (halo) since their EP "towncryer" last year, which I really enjoyed. I was less impressed by this EP I think. Idk. I only really loved one song "sKill IsSue" and thought the rest didn't really sound like anything special. At times, I actually thought they sounded kinda like Bar Italia here (I think cuz of the vocals) which is interesting. I just feel like especially in this genre, I admire most when a band sounds unlike anyone else. So that was a tad disappointing I guess. Still solid shoegaze and a band to watch for sure.
