Unity, Unity (8/10)

I've known about Unity Skateboarding for a few years but just found about the band (still don't know the exact connection) last month when I saw them open for Tony Molina. The album is only on bandcamp but man it is killer!! And the band sounded super tight when I saw them, despite this album coming out in 2016. Great sweet fuzzy alt rock kinda reminiscent of Mad Planets or hmm other surfy punky bands I can't think of the name of right now. i luvv. Punky in the vocals but still super easy to listen to for more normie fans. Makes me excited to be back in the Bay and keep digging into the local underground acts.
