Emita Ox, Hello Mary (8/10)

Ok wow. At first listen I was going to give this a 5 (though have time to listen to the whole album); I was just like more alt rock... okay?? But now I'm listening again with much more focus and this shit is pretty awesome!!!! Super impressed. Bangin songs that use guitar texture, but also the band seems really intentional about it/doesn't use it all the time. I've liked a few random songs by Hello Mary before but probs wouldn't have considered myself a fan. Think that just changed. Definitely gotta be in the right mood, but if you are, chefs kiss.
