Sans Limites (Single), Thurston Moore & Laetitia Sadier (7/10)

On 6/20/24, Thurston Moore and Laetitia Sadier released this epic single w Daydream Library. Two of my favorite artists of all time, my expectations were pretty much of an impossible scale. On my first listen, I was pretty disappointed, getting tired of the 3 minute instrumental lead up and what I thought was an insufficient climax. I've kept coming back to it, though, and really come to appreciate everything that this single is. The 3 first minutes are actually quite excellent, and it's nice to hear Thurston singing new stuff especially when Sadier comes in. Got a lot of love for these two and happy to see them still putting out new stuff and experimenting.
