Lives Outgrown, Beth Gibbons (4/10)

Beth Gibbons (of Portishead) released her debut solo album, "Lives Outgrown" 5/17/24 w Domino Recording. This album's gotten a ton of praise and an 8.0 and Pitchfork, but I've got to be straight up, I'm a hater 😭😭😭 I just can't do the vocals or chamber folk and I had to stop listening after a few songs. Giving it a 4 cuz I do respect it as music and respect Gibbons a lot, but was a no for me sorrryyy. 

(it's probs worthwhile to note I'm not the biggest Portishead fan either - just don't love her voice that much sorry sorry sorry)
