Backyard Lover (Single), Merce Lemon (8/10)

In the last six months, Merce Lemon has quickly shot up to being one of my fav singer songwriters rn. Tough! Because there's so many in this genre/indie folk/rock. I just love her voice a lot and like her guitar and lyrics too. And she knows how to shred. On 7/9/24 she released this lead single and announced her next album "Watch Me Drive Them Dogs Wild," out 9/27 w Darling Recordings. Great song and very indicative of her style I feel like. Kinda Squirrel Flower esque but also totally her own.
