Scream from New York, NY, Been Stellar (6/10)

NY alt rockers Been Stellar released their debut album 6/21/24 w Dirty Hit. I've been sorta loosely following them for a while, but this is the first time I think I've ever listened in full to a release. Exceeded my expectations! Don't remember liking the singles that were released much (but I love "pumpkin" so I must've missed that one), but I like a bunch of songs on the album a lot. Remind me of Smashing Pumpkins sometimes a lot. Good combo of a bit harder rock and slower stuff. Would love to see them live. Only a 6 because about half of the songs I didn't really like, but the ones I did I really did! Keeping good ol grungy alternative rock alive. Fav tracks: Pumpkin, Scream from New York, NY, Takedown
