The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess, Chappell Roan (7/10)

Ok so obviously late to this train lol but finally listened to the whole "The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess," Chappell Roan's debut which dropped last September (9/22/23) w Amusement Records. I'd heard the popular singles and liked them but not enough to listen to the full LP last year, but she's blown up so much I thought I'd give it a chance. Pretty solid! I am generally pop averse and there were def parts of the album that were too poppy/boring for me, but also lots that did impress me. Great range of song types/dancey or club vs more ballad. Great voice. And always + points for an alter ego. Fav tracks: Femininomenon, Red Wine Supernova, Casual
