I Got Heaven, Mannequin Pussy (7/10)

Another much anticipated drop, Mannequin Pussy released their latest album (3/1/24) w Epitaph. The lead single, which they dropped last year, was a fav of mine, so I was really excited to see where the album would go! I don't think I'd listened to the other singles before this. But really great album!!! The first half is just flawless and I think "Nothing Like" is up for top songs of the year for me. Great grungey rock and punk. The second half of the album was a bit too discordant/punk for my daily/casual consumption, tho I do think it's very good music. Quite impressed overall. Fav tracks: I Got Heaven, Nothing Like, Loud Bark
