What Do We Do Now, J Mascis (7/10)

I've been on a bit of a hiatus bc I was SO SICK w a stomach bug but I'm back. J Mascis' new album, "What Do We Do Now," which came out today w Sub Pop is everything that the new Ty Segall album was trying and failing to be imo lol. That album came out last week and haven't reviewed it yet bc having trouble getting thru it, but this one was a breeze. If you hate J's voice, you'll hate his voice, but there are just so many sick guitar shredding moments across this album. A few songs I don't love, but overall this gets my approval. Fav tracks: What Do We Do Now, Can't Believe We're Here, Set Me Down
