Prelude to Ecstasy, The Last Dinner Party (4/10)

Okay what the hell. I've seen so much hype around this album (which came out 2/2/24) -- lots of people saying it's the fav album of art pop / art rock London rn. I thought this was so cringe. I do not like it when pop/rock albums sound like musicals. Lyrics not even great either. At their best, they sound like Florence + the Machine spinoffs (tho the guitar solo in Nothing Matters does go off).
