Blue Raspberry, Katy Kirby (6/10)

1/26/24 was the first big New Music Friday of the year for me, and Katy Kirby's sophomore album was def part of the reason why. I'd been kinda underimpressed w the singles, so wasn't really sure what to expect, but was hoping that the full album I'd like more. Ultimately, I think I do like some of the songs on the album more but generally wasn't super impressed. Idk I just thought the songs were kinda boring and slow. I like listening to the gay lyrics and the song "Alexandria" was a stand-out for me, but generally did not like as much as Kirby's debut (which was one of my fav albums of 2021).
