american dream, 21 Savage (6/10)

Was excited to listen to this new 21 Savage album which came out on 1/12/24 w Slaughter Gang. It has big ambitions with a title like "american dream," and opens with a nice little monologue from his mother. And while there are some bangers on here and I'm still a fan, and maybe I'm biased bc I haven't been listening to too much rap recently, I just got bored by the end of the album. Just beat after beat w his voice even tho I rlly luv his voice and verses and some of the contributions from other artists like Metro Boomin and Summer Walker. Still p solid. Fav tracks: redrum, n.h.i.e., dangerous
