Maps, billy woods & Kenny Segal (7/10)

This album by billy woods (of Armand Hammer) and Kenny Segal came out 5/5/23 w woods' own Backwoodz Studioz. I hadn't known about this album, but it's been topping a bunch of AOTY lists. It's very good! Good old school style rap think MF DOOM maybe. Lots of great rapping over great jazzy and bluesy instrumental parts. Got a bit bored but there's bangers throughout the whole thing. Fav tracks: Soft Landing, Soundcheck, Hangman
