In Electric Time, Jeremiah Chiu (6/10)

Jeremiah Chiu is one of my favorite contemporary composers/ambient artists. Last year, his album w Marta Sofia Honer, "Recordings from the Åland Islands," I actually gave an 8/10. This album, which he released on 9/29/23 w International Anthem is a way more electronic experimental ambient one. While it still utilizes field recordings, it's a lot more playing w synth, which you can even tell from the song names and the cover art. I love shit like this but wasn't super overwhelmed by it. Still p solid and cool esp if ur into Eno-esque electronic ambient and/or synth. Fav tracks: ElectroComp101, Echo Arp Hold, In Electric Time
