Crying, Laughing, Waving, Smiling, Slaughter Beach, Dog (7/10)

Slaugher Beach, Dog put out this album on 9/22/23 w Lame-O Records. I'd seen it get a little attention and I remember Bella listening to one or a couple of the songs. It's honestly pretty good! Not that I dislike SBD, just that I am not their biggest fan ever. And again, I think I put all these kinda folky albums aside this year since I haven't really been in that mood. But this album exceeded my expectations. They embrace a real kind Wilco-y sound here, and it's working quite well I think. Except sometimes a little too religious for me. But mostly just real sweet pleasant indie rock songs. :) Fav tracks: Float Away, Engine, Easter
