Hard Light, Drop Nineteens (6/10)

Drop Nineteens dropped their first album in 30 years on 11/3/23 w Wharf Cat Records. I like some of their stuff but not all, so had my mind pretty open going into this album. Honestly it was about what I expected. Decent. The shoegazey guitar is great in lots of places, but I don't particulary like the vocals and I esp found some of the lyrics cringey in a lot of the songs lol. Solid stuff but nothing special esp when there's so much great shoegaze being put out these days. Fav tracks: Scapa Flow, The Price Was High, Another One Another
