For Forever, The American Analog Set (6/10)

The American Analog Set released their first album since 2009! :o Came out on 10/28/23 w Hometown Fantasy. I've been a fan of them for a while, and I didn't know they were releasing this until a few days after it came out, so it was a pretty exciting surprise. Found the album kinda disappointing tho, ngl. There's a few bangers and the eponymous song is a tour de force, but overall was just eh on a lot of the songs. Idk I wasn't a huge fan of of Andrew Kenny's voice in most of em. For this reason, I thought they most shined in those long instrumental interludes that are so fkn good. Still a super solid album and was wavering btwn a 6 and a 7.
