Tomorrow's Fire, Squirrel Flower (8/10)

Squirrel Flower's latest album came out today (10/13/23) w Polyvinyl. SO GOOD! I was super looking forward to this drop after I was just flabbergasted by the song "When A Plant Is Dying," which was released as a single earlier this year and is in the running for my favorite song of the year. Although the full album didn't blow my socks off, it's still pretty awesome. Kind of like if you took the recent Weyes Blood album and really notched up the distortion and grunge element and made her gay lolol. My kinda shit. Really really beautiful tour de force of an album.
