Realistic, Ivy (9/10)

Not a new album, but so good I thought I'd post about it!!! Ivy's a dream pop/indie rock band from the 90's and 2000's. I'd listened to their album "Apartment Life" before and knew a few of their other songs, all stuff I liked but not loved, but this album is just fuckin awesome. It's their debut full-length, from 1995, when they first got picked up by Bar None. In interviews, they say it's more raw and less put together since they didn't know as much, but I think it's my fav work of theirs by far. Gotta stereolab vibe w more those classic femme vocals and fuzzy guitar, it's just great stuff. Fav tracks: No Guarantee, Decay, 15 Seconds
