WEEDKILLER, Ashnikko (6/10)

Ashnikko released her sophomore album yesterday (8/25/23) w Parlophone Records. I think Ashnikko makes some absolute bangers (Slumber Party feat. Princess Nokia goes so hard), and I was really pleasantly surprised by the amount on this album. Sometimes, though, she's too poppy for me or I don't like the melodies, which happens for about half this album as well. Still exceeded my expectations, I'd say. If you like Rico Nasty or femme punk indie pop, you should def give the album a try. Also an Ethel Cain feature!!!! Wild. Favorite tracks: You Make Me Sick!, Worms, Super Soaker (feat. Daniela Lalita)
