Wandering Rebel, Juan Wauters (5/10)

I'd seen Juan Wauters a lot on random stuff but never listened to him. A few close friends posted songs of his recently on Instagram, so I decided to give his latest album a chance. This album came out on 6/2/23 w Captured Tracks. He's kinda a silly goosey playful indie folk act w a lot of South American influence. He's collabed w Mac Demarco and you can see how the two would go well together. I liked a couple songs on the album, and really like his instrumentation esp guitar, but sometimes I find his lyrics and vocals cringey. Whoops. Favorite tracks: Eloping, Milanesa al Pan, Nube Negra
