The Window, Ratboys (6/10)

Chicago indie rock band, Ratboys, released this new album on 8/25/23 w producer Chris Walla (death cab, tegan and sara). It's a solid album somewhere sonically between Wednesdsay and Bully maybe? Sometimes grungy w distortion, but generally kinda indie poppy and w country/folk influences for sure. I was just okay. Liked a few of the songs but nothing was super stand out. Some good guitar at moments but was a bit generic for my taste/I'm not the hugest fan of the vocals. Still solid tho. Fav tracks: Making Noise For the Ones You Loved, The Window, Empty
