Haunted Mountain, Buck Meek (6/10)

Lots of albums out on 8/25/23 - this is Buck Meek's third studio album, which he co-wrote with Jolie Holland (luv). Was pretty stoked for this album drop, since I just luved the title track which he released as a single a while ago. Album was about what I expected, maybe a tad disappointing if anything, but it's still v solid. He's a great songwriter and guitarist. I think I just wished there was more shredding on the album since that's been my vibe lately (def my bias). Haunted Mountain is still my fav song, but I didn't expect for that to change. Overall, a solid indie folk LP that has a nice mix of slower and faster songs and lots of great guitar moments. Fav tracks: Haunted Mountain, Cyclades, Where You're Coming From
