Eye On The Bat, Palehound (6/10)

Arg. One of the biggest disappointments of the year for me I think. Only cuz I'm a big Palehound fan!!!! Anyways, they released this album on 7/14/23 w Polyvinyl. Kinda felt this one coming cuz I wasn't super fucking w the singles, but yeah I don't know. This album is not it for me. There's a few songs I like, and I like a lot of the instrumentals/the guitar absolutely rips at parts, but I'm just not diggin the vocals and lyrics on this album for whatever reason. Which is sad cuz I love love some of Palehound's older stuff, vocals and lyrics included! This album's def a bit more upbeat/rocky than some prior stuff, which should mean I should like it!
