Sugar the Bruise (EP), Hand Habits (5/10)

New Hand Habits EP dropped on 6/16/23 w Fat Possum Records. It's a 20 minute six track EP. Starts off pretty strong with a song w some sick ass electric guitar -- much more electric than a lot of HH's other stuff. I was pretty excited by this, but then honestly I didn't really like the rest of the album. It's ok but there's def some strange stuff happening. Specifically, I was very confused by the last song which I guess is about colonialism? and all about the bust of Nefertiti lol. Idk. I appreciate experimentalism, but this just wasn't working for me personally. Favorite tracks: Something Wrong
