O Monolith, Squid (5/10)

Another 6/9/23 drop, Squid released their latest album with Warp Records. About what I expected from Squid, this is a 8 song 41 minute album of strange and kind of long post punk jams lol. I think Squid is pretty awesome and have a lot of respect for how talented they are and how much they can shred, but I sometimes find it hard to listen to/not the most pleasant lol. It's a thing that happens sometimes with talky post punk for me lmao. Happened again with this album altho there's lots of moments where I'm in awe. Favorite tracks: Swing (In A Dream), Undergrowth,
