With Blasphemy, so Heartfelt, Jessica Lea Mayfield (9/10)

Ugh this album is so good that I wanted to keep it a secret and all to myself, but I won't. 😭😭 I've been listening to Jessica Lea Mayfield for a while now but only stuff from her 2014 album, "Make My Head Sing..." (gave that album an 8/10). While that album is more shoegazey rock, this album is like shoegazey folk, and it's just so FREAKIN good!!! Folk like I haven't really seen it done before. Guitar soooo good. Lyrics also so good. So sad. Heartbreak album for sure. Oh came out in 2008 w Polymer Sounds. Favorite tracks: Kiss Me Again, For Today, I Can't Lie to You, Love
