Only Everything, Juliana Hatfield (8/10)

I'd been really into the song from this album, "Simplicity is Beautiful" for the last few months but just got around to listening to the whole album. Hatfield's sophomore album, this came out in 1995 with Atlantic Recording Corp. Think Liz Phair meets Wednesday. She's got the vocals like Liz - super raw and feminine, great lyrics - and the richness of that shoegazey guitar from Wednesday. There's some real shreddage happening here. Don't love about 1/3, but the rest is really great!!!!! Was v impressed. Favorite tracks: Simplicity is Beautiful, Fleur de Lys, Bottles and Flowers
