Haunted Mountain, Buck Meek (9/10)

Buck Meek announced a new album with this eponymous single, which dropped 5/24/23 w 4AD. What caught my eye is that it was co-written w Jolie Holland (🙌), and apparently she co-wrote 11 tracks on the album!! which I was psyched about. It's a great little folky banger and if it's any indication of the direction of the album, I'm all here for it (out Aug 25). Honestly liked it more than I anticipated! probs cuz it's a bit more upbeat w some sick ass guitar rather than just sad indie acoustic lol.
