Cruise Your Illusion, Milk Music (7/10)

Listened to my second Milk Music album all the way through today. "Cruise Your Illusion" came out in 2013 from Fat Possum records and was the band's debut LP. I recently listened to their sophomore album, "Mystic 100's" and, though I didn't review it here, gave it an 8/10. Milk Music has some of the best guitar ever, on par with Yo La Tengo and Built to Spill, though I like their vocals less than both of those bands. For some reason, I liked the vocals less on this album than "Mystic 100's," but they just rip on the guitar. It's so sick. And I will deal w the vocals on some songs just to listen to the guitar parts. lol. Favorite tracks: Caged Dogs Run Wild, Coyote Road, Illegal and Free
