Raven, Kelela (5/10)

People are going to come after me for this rating lol, but... I gotta stay true to myself. Kelela released this much anticipated (by the critics and general fans) album 5 years after her last; "Raven" came out with Warp Records ALSO on 2/10/23. I don't know if it's just because I'm kinda in an alt. rock phase and out of my real R&B phase, but I was just not fuckin with it as much as I felt like I should. There's a few bangers for sure, but other than those I was just kinda meh on the songs 🙊 DON'T CANCEL ME!!! I still think Kelela is super dope and extremely talented. And if you like alt. R&B, I would still def recommend it. Favorite tracks: On the Run, Contact, Sorbet
