Make My Head Sing..., Jessica Lee Mayfield (7/10)

A nice dark shoegazey album from 2014, we have "Make My Head Sing..." by Jessica Lee Mayfield with ATO Records. Mayfield just performed at Snail Mail's Valentine's Fest, but I'd seen some friends post songs from this album before that. That opening song "Oblivious" just sets the stage so well for the album.. great distortion and slow guitar, and Mayfield's voice is p sexy.  Great drums too. Don't love all the songs on this album, and some of the ones that are the most popular I actually don't like as much bc they get more poppy, but there are some songs I luv for sure. Favorite tracks: Oblivious, Pure Stuff, Anything You Want
