Barley, Water From Your Eyes (7/10)

New single from Water From Your Eyes came out Tuesday (2/28/23). On first listen, it was a bit too chaotic for me but it's honestly grown on me a lot. It is kinda chaotic but it's pretty cool I think. I read somewhere that the duo was really influenced by Sonic Youth and some other similar bands for it, and you can definitely hear the influences. It precedes their next album which is coming out in May from Matador, which I'm pretty excited for as "Adeleine" was on my top 5 most listened to songs last year by Spotify lol. Yeet. Great band.
