Shape Up, Leikeli47 (7/10)

This album dropped on May 13th of 2022, but I really procrastinated listening to it. Umm it's really good?? One of the surprise best rap albums of the year for sure. She's a lot weirder than I thought and the album in some ways reminds me of the strangeness/innovation of Tierra Whack but her rapping voice reminds me most of Nicki Minaj which I also really like. There's a real range of styles and sounds and tempos in this album with some more upbeat kind of club songs and a few slower r&b type songs. It quite impressed me. It's also queer??? Ugh. This was great with a lot of bangers. Favorite tracks: LL Cool J, Secret Service, Instant Classic (Bonus Track)
