Roach Friends, Melaina Kol (5/10)

Melaina Kol is a pretty grungey artist I like. They sound like old Alex G - super raw and with some great guitar. They released this album on 11/25/22. It's a 15-track 35 minute album; so a lot of short one minute songs. It's pretty noisy and experimental, which I respect, but this resulted in me only feeling meh about a lot of the songs (the ones I like tend to be the more melodic ones with vocals). Didn't love this album, but still am definitely a fan and will continue to follow them (I feel like experimental stuff can be really hit or miss for me).
