CRY MFER, My Idea (7/10)

Impressed by this debut album (4/22/22) from indie rock/pop band, My Idea - the duo made up of Lily Konigsberg and Nate Amos of Water From Your Eyes. It reminded me a lot of bands like Momma or Lunar Vacation (or now knowing this fact, Water From Your Eyes)-- all bands I fuck with, and it is a good chill vibe with some nice vocals and guitar parts. Nothing particularly special but overall a solid album with a few bangers. It's also p interesting cuz the songs really change vibes depending on if Amos or Konisberg is singing, Amos has a much more autotuned alt pop sound (think Jockstrap?) while Konisberg has a much more folky sound. Favorite tracks: Crutch, Baby I'm the Man, I Should Have Never Generated You
